Football Recap: McDaniel Mountain Lions vs. Jefferson Democrats
McDaniel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 43-6 loss at the hands of the Jefferson Democrats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mountain Lions of the 42-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Tre'Marion Crawford threw for 127 yards on 14 of 20 attempts.
Jaydin Jordan was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards.
McDaniel's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Jefferson, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

As for Jefferson, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
