Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Sardis' Fourth in Last Five Outings

It was a proper cat-fight when Sardis took on Westminster Christian Academy on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

When it comes to explaining why Westminster Christian Academy lost, don't look at Jane Forgey. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and two aces.

Sardis is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.

Coincidentally, Sardis and Westminster Christian Academy will both be playing Albertville the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Aggies on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 8:30 a.m.
