Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Comes Up Short

Conneaut's tournament run continued when they took on Norton on Thursday. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.

Haley Sanderson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and one assist.

Conneaut's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Norton, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Conneaut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Northwest on the 20th.
