Basketball Game Preview: Belleview Christian Bruins vs. Front Range Christian Falcons

The Belleview Christian Bruins will head out to challenge the Front Range Christian Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Front Range Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Belleview Christian, who comes in off a win.

Belleview Christian is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since January 15th on Tuesday. They blew past Dawson School 42-19.

Belleview Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tara Polson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Polson a new career-high in assists (six). Harjas Thiara was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven assists.

Belleview Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Front Range Christian's Shayla Hajka, who en route to 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.
