Basketball Game Preview: Crow Creek Chieftains vs. Lakota Tech Tatanka

Crow Creek is 0-3 against Lakota Tech since February of 2022 but things could change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Chieftains will jump right back in to play the Tatanka at 3:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Crow Creek saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 43-39 to Lower Brule.

Meanwhile, Lakota Tech came up short against McLaughlin on Friday and fell 53-44.

Lakota Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Crow Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Crow Creek ended up a good deal behind Lakota Tech in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, losing 79-62. Can the Chieftains avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
