Football Game Preview: Pocahontas County vs. Bath County

Bath County are packing up and hiking across state lines for their match on Friday. They have had some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next matchup, which is against Pocahontas County at 7:00 PM. Bath County are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.

If Bath County were riding high off their 58-33 takedown of Grace Christian three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Bath County ended up on the wrong side of a painful 9-32 walloping at Pendleton County's hands. Bath County's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.

Meanwhile, Pocahontas County took their game against Richwood last Friday by a conclusive 43-16 score. The success made it back-to-back wins for Pocahontas County.

Pocahontas County's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Bath County's loss dropped them down to 2-2. We'll see if Pocahontas County's success rolls on or if Bath County are able to steal their positive momentum.
