Soccer Recap: Charlotte Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grace Academy last Friday, Charlotte Christian came back down to earth. The Knights lost 6-2 to the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers on Tuesday. Charlotte Christian have struggled against Charlotte Country Day School recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Caroline Coles and Carsen Record scored both of Charlotte Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Charlotte Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Charlotte Country Day School, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6.

The timing isn't great for Charlotte Country Day School: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Charlotte Latin have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
