Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was the 62-59 winner over South Side when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Riverside Panthers lost 56-36 to the South Side Rams on Wednesday.

Riverside has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for South Side, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Riverside Panthers take on the New Brighton Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Side, they will head out to square off against Union Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Union Area will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Side surely won't give up without a fight.
