Basketball Recap: Waterloo East Takes a Loss

Waterloo East lost against Mason City back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waterloo East Trojans received a blow as they fell 56-39 to the Mason City Mohawks. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterloo East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Mason City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Waterloo East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-33 loss against Waukon on the 13th. Mason City has also already played their next game, a 46-41 win against Roosevelt on the 14th.
