Recap: Danvers Falcons vs. Bishop Fenwick Crusaders
The Danvers Falcons were the 62-47 winner over the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Danvers took a 69-52 bruising from Bishop Fenwick on Wednesday. Danvers has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Danvers lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Metivier, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Logan Metivier was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Danvers has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Bishop Fenwick, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Danvers will head out on the road to square off against Swampscott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will be playing at home against Bishop Stang at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
