Soccer Recap: Tyler Legacy Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Forney last Tuesday, Tyler Legacy came back down to earth. The Tyler Legacy Raiders fell just short of the Rockwall Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Raiders came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 156th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Tyler Legacy fell to 11-1. As for Rockwall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tyler Legacy will challenge Rockwall-Heath at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockwall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Royse City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
