Baseball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball was the 13-1 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Kimball lost 9-3 to Lincoln on Monday. The Jaguars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Kimball saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Isler, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Gino Mallamo was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lincoln, they moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Kimball had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
