Soccer Recap: West Vigo Comes Up Short

West Vigo lost against Covington back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Trojans, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as West Vigo were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Zaylee Macke, which was the first she's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Vigo and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Covington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Vigo will venture away from home to take on Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covington, they will head out to face off against Lebanon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
