Baseball Recap: Fairfield Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Victory

Fairfield won the last time they faced Teague and things went their way on Tuesday too. Fairfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Teague, sneaking past 9-8. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Fairfield, bringing their record up to 11-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Teague, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
