It was a Battle of the Birds when Veribest faced off against Sterling City on Saturday. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The win was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kaci York paced Veribest's offense, picking up eight kills. York got some help from Marli Daniels and her nine assists. Tristyn Rojo controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Veribest's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Sterling City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Veribest has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cedar Hill on the 23rd. As for Sterling City, they will head out on the road to face off against Klondike at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
