Volleyball Recap: Newton Takes a Loss

Newton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scott Central Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Scott Central, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Newton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Raleigh on the 23rd. Scott Central has also already played their next match (against Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
