Volleyball Recap: West Nottingham Takes a Loss

West Nottingham lost against Avon Grove Charter back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-5, 25-6.

Avon Grove Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddy McGehean, who had seven aces. Those seven aces gave McGehean a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Teagan Nardi, who had six aces.

West Nottingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Avon Grove Charter, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Coincidentally, West Nottingham and Avon Grove Charter will both be playing Tome the next time they take the court. The Wolves will host the Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rams will host them at 4:00 p.m. on October 9.
