Waiakea extends road losing streak to seven

Recap: Waiakea Warriors vs. Pahoa Daggers
The Waiakea Warriors were the 74-30 winner over the Pahoa Daggers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Waiakea took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Daggers. Waiakea has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pahoa found their leader in underclassman Kyran Canete, who scored 25 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Canete has scored at least a third of Pahoa's points. Donivan Lynch was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Waiakea's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pahoa, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Waiakea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pahoa also has no future games currently scheduled.
