Recap: Centura Centurions vs. Boone Central Cardinals
The Centura Centurions entered their tilt with the Boone Central Cardinals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Centura came out on top against Boone Central by a score of 40-28 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Centura, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Centura found their leader in underclassman Kennedy Davis, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 blocks. Davis is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last four games she's played. Kyra Wooden was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Centura has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Boone Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centura will take on Arcadia/Loup City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Centura's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Arcadia/Loup City has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
