It was a good run, but Vestal unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Horseheads Blue Raiders by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Golden Bears have suffered since April 24, 2024.

Vestal saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Tanton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Vestal's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Horseheads, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

As of now, neither Vestal nor the Blue Raiders have any future games scheduled.
