While Homestead's win against Mountain View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs skirted past the Spartans 2-1. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Homestead will head out to face off against Monta Vista at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain View, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wilcox at 6:45 p.m. on the 18th.
