Baseball Recap: Kalamazoo Central Takes a Loss

Kalamazoo Central couldn't beat Gull Lake on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Maroon Giants fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 9-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Maroon Giants in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

Tro Fellings was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Kalamazoo Central: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise.
