It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Masconomet Regional can now relate to. They fell 66-58 to the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders on Monday. The Chieftains' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Somerset Berkley Regional's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Finnian Bjork, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. The matchup was Bjork's third in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dom Taylor, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 18 points.

Masconomet Regional's loss dropped their record down to 22-2. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, the victory (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 24-1.
