After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Curry, Cordova was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Oakman Wildcats 13-2. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Cordova is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Oakman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-22.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cordova beat the Wildcats by a score of 13-1 later that day.
