North Platte triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Clancy Brown

Recap: North Platte Bulldogs vs. Kearney Catholic Stars

The North Platte Bulldogs's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They secured a 50-45 W over Kearney Catholic. The win was just what North Platte needed coming off of a 58-31 defeat in their prior matchup.

Clancy Brown was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Kaminski, who scored seven points.

Several Stars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aibrey Mandernach, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Rylie O'Hare, who scored nine points.

North Platte's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Kearney Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lexington the next time they take the court. Kearney Catholic will head out to face Lexington at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, while North Platte will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
