Fletcher was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sandalwood on Tuesday. Fletcher put the hurt on Sandalwood with a sharp 10-3 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Senators considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Ava Lowman, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Madison Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Fletcher hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Fletcher has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. Sandalwood is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Fletcher will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlantic Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Atlantic Coast will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Fletcher surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sandalwood, they will head out on the road to take on Englewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
