Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Heights Comes Up Short

Wisconsin Heights lost against Abundant Life back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vanguards fell just short of the Challengers by a score of 2-1.

Izzy Sutherland paced Wisconsin Heights' offense, picking up eight kills. Sutherland got some help from Amelia Blicharz and her 22 assists. Blicharz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addie Duhr, each putting up two.

Wisconsin Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Abundant Life, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wisconsin Heights and Abundant Life will both be playing Faith Christian the next time they take the court. The Challengers will head out to face the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vanguards will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
