Baseball Recap: White Knoll Takes a Loss

White Knoll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the River Bluff Gators, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 last Tuesday.

Jeremy Powell was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Ayden Gallegos was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

White Knoll's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for River Bluff, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

White Knoll didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Cardinal Newman on the 21st. As for River Bluff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Mid-Carolina on the 22nd.
