Football Game Preview: Kenwood Bluebirds vs. Woodlawn Warriors + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Kenwood will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Woodlawn Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kenwood will be strutting in after a victory while Woodlawn will be coming in after a loss.

Kenwood took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 16-6 win over Overlea. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bluebirds as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Damon Green continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 191 yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.6 rushing yards per game.

Meanwhile, Woodlawn fell victim to Owings Mills and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Woodlawn's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kenwood, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
