Softball Recap: Lakeridge Comes Up Short

Lakeridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Tigard Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-0 loss two weeks ago.

Lakeridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Tigard, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lakeridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Oregon City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Tigard will take on rival West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
