Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Travis' Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Bend Travis can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Dawson Eagles on Thursday. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Despite the defeat, Fort Bend Travis saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kylie Winn had 11 digs.

Fort Bend Travis moved to 22-19 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak. As for Dawson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-4 record this season.

Fort Bend Travis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dawson, they will square off against Clear Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
