Softball Recap: Seminole Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Seminole and Apopka squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Seminole had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Darters by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Darters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-7 on Wednesday.

Hurley Romero made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Apopka, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4.

As of now, neither Seminole nor the Blue Darters have any future games scheduled.
