Softball Recap: Frontier Regional Comes Up Short

Frontier Regional lost against Wahconah Regional back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Hawks took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Red Hawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since on Thursday.

Delaney 'Lu' Fifield made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Skyler Steele was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Frontier Regional is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7. As for Wahconah Regional, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Coming up, Frontier Regional will look to defend their home field on Monday against South Hadley at 5:30 p.m. Wahconah Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
