Providence Academy won the last time they faced Winston School of Dallas, and Josiah Parham did his part to make sure it happened again. The Providence Academy Lions breezed past the Winston School of Dallas Eagles to the tune of 67-39 on Friday thanks in part to Parham, who dropped a double-double with 34 points and 12 steals. Parham is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season.

Ezra Mauldin was another key player, putting up five points and 14 rebounds. He has become a key player for Providence Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight boards, but 9-12 otherwise.

Winston School of Dallas' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Dickey, who posted nine points. The dominant performance also gave Dickey a new career-high in field goal percentage (44%). Another player making a difference was Zane Purdy, who put up 13 points and seven rebounds.

Providence Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points over those games. As for Winston School of Dallas, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Coming up, Providence Academy will take on Accelerate Christian at 3:00 p.m. on February 15th. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
