Baseball Recap: Harpeth Comes Up Short

Harpeth was the 4-3 winner over Overton when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Harpeth Indians took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Overton Bobcats on Friday.

Aaron Higgs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Chance Ford, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Harpeth's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Overton, their record now sits at 3-1.

Coming up, Harpeth is taking a road trip to take on McEwen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Overton, they will take on Hume-Fogg in a tournament on Monday.
