Baseball Game Preview: Skyline Falcons vs. Fairview Knights

The Skyline Falcons will square off against the Fairview Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Wednesday, Skyline came up short against Monarch and fell 6-1.

Skyline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Knapp, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Another was Matt Lanier, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Fairview was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Legacy by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Lightning: they've now lost four in a row.

Fairview's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-7. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1.
