Softball Recap: Taos Takes a Loss

If Taos was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Espanola Valley on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 9-2 to the Sundevils on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Sundevils since April 8, 2023.

Taos saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Moniquie Concha, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Taos has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Espanola Valley, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-20.

As of now, neither Taos nor the Sundevils have any future games scheduled.
