Soccer Recap: Dixon Has No Trouble Against Sterling

Dixon barely beat Sterling the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dukes & Duchesses blew past the Golden Warriors 5-0 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Dixon, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Sterling with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rachel Lance (2), Leah Stees, Micki Worrell, and Jenna Harrison.

The win made it two in a row for Dixon and bumps their season record up to 14-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Sterling, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Dixon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Sycamore on the 15th. As for Sterling, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Ottawa on the 15th.
