Volleyball Recap: Linton-Stockton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Linton-Stockton can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Barr-Reeve Vikings on Saturday. The Miners haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Ella Warrick paced Linton-Stockton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Warrick got some help from Audrey Sullivan and her 24 assists.

Linton-Stockton's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Barr-Reeve, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

Linton-Stockton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barr-Reeve, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Sullivan on the 18th.
