Softball Recap: Houston Academy Has No Trouble Against West Point

Houston Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the West Point Warriors 10-0. Considering the Raiders have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Houston Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for West Point, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Houston Academy will take on Oswego at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Good Hope at 4:00 p.m. on April 8.
