The Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas were able to grind out a solid victory over the St. Joseph's Prep Hawks on Friday, taking the game 49-42. Those 49 points were actually the fewest the Little Hoyas have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Georgetown Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Joseph's Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown Prep and St. Mary's Ryken will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph's Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Conwell-Egan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
