Soccer Recap: Fultondale Comes Up Short

Fultondale managed to keep up with American Christian Academy until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats came up short against the Patriots, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against American Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 two weeks ago.

This is the second loss in a row for Fultondale and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for American Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fultondale will face off against Holt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fultondale are facing Holt at the right time seeing as Holt are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for American Christian Academy, they will take on Sipsey Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Christian Academy will be up against Sipsey Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.92 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
