Soccer Recap: Coconino Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Coconino had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Tempe Buffaloes by a score of 4-2. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

They hit Tempe with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Santiago Aguero (2), Josemiguel Villanueva, and Fernando Soto-Diaz.

Coconino wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Arcadia on the 9th. Tempe has also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Shadow Mountain on the 9th.
