Basketball Game Preview: Wake Forest Cougars vs. Jordan Falcons

The Wake Forest Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Jordan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wake Forest will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Wake Forest was able to grind out a solid win over Green Hope, taking the game 49-42.

Among those leading the charge was Chiquora Miles, who went 7 of 14 en route to 19 points along with six boards and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aryana Meadows, who posted seven points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jordan). They breezed by Durham School of the Arts to the tune of 56-15 on Tuesday. The Falcons pushed the score to 39-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had little chance of recovering from.

Jordan's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Wake Forest, their record now sits at 5-1.

Wake Forest didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Jordan when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 32-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wake Forest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
