Softball Recap: Bradshaw Christian Takes a Loss

Bradshaw Christian and Le Grand squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bradshaw Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Pride couldn't push the score so high this time.

Avery Slater was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Lexi Ortiz, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Bradshaw Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Le Grand, their victory bumped their record up to 21-7.

Bradshaw Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Le Grand, they will take on Mariposa County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
