Basketball Recap: Entrepreneur Comes Up Short

Entrepreneur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Pacific Pirates, falling 63-26. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.

Pacific's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maurice Fitzgerald led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 24 boards. Fitzgerald is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. Douglas Perez was another key player, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten boards.

Entrepreneur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Pacific, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-16 record.

Entrepreneur will head out on the road to face off against Indian Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pacific, they will host Miller at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
