Softball Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County and Oxford Prep squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Warren County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Griffins, falling 22-3. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Griffins: they've now lost five in a row.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Oxford Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Warren County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oxford Prep has already played their next game (against Rosewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
