Soccer Recap: Copperas Cove Victorious

Copperas Cove kept a clean sheet against Killeen on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Killeen Kangaroos by a score of 2-0. While the Bulldawgs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-18-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Ayo Shoroye and Kevin Antero-Torres scored both of Copperas Cove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Copperas Cove's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Killeen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Copperas Cove will welcome Bryan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bryan's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Killeen has already played their next match (against Harker Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
