Basketball Game Preview: Pisgah Bears vs. Enka Jets + How To Watch

The Pisgah Bears will head out to face off against the Enka Jets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Pisgah needed a bit of extra time to put away Erwin. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 win over the Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

While Enka didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Tuscola with a sharp 58-38 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Jets have posted against the Mountaineers since January 29, 2021.

Enka's win came from a few key players Pisgah will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Amiya Wardlaw, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Ali Crook was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Enka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Pisgah's record now sits at 3-0. As for Enka, their record is now 6-0.
