The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Pinellas Park Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Indian Rocks Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Indian Rocks Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Wharton on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 5-2 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Pinellas Park had just enough and edged out Anclote 4-3 on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Pinellas Park's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Indian Rocks Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Indian Rocks Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Pinellas Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Indian Rocks Christian took their win against Pinellas Park in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 11-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
